I bought 100 from Walmart and had 4 dead rounds I tried the failed rounds more than once and they were definitely duds Anyway, I can usually find 9mm on sale at the same or better price than Tula You just have to buy a couple extra boxes when its on sale Brass is prettier too

All off the current Wolf Bear Tula whatever is a mild steel jacket with a copper sheath over the steel; a magnet will stick to it, but the core is lead, not steel Here's a pic of a steelcore round Resident HK evangelist

I have bought 7 62X39 Red Army Based on the single 1,000 round case I bought compared to 1,000 round cases of Tula, Wolf (two types), Silver Bear and another darn brand I can't seem to remember right now - both of us shooting that ammo thought Red Army was the worst 1 brand new cartridges right out of the case had rust on the steel cases
- Tul Maxxtech 115gr 9mm. Not impressed so far.
The newer Tula MAXXtech is a brass jacket, not brass plated steel like the black box Tula I did a magnet test, and no stickie to the magnet I did, however, find some minor surface rust on the case heads of the last box I bought I informed the shop, and we opened over 200 boxes

I guess i should have specified that the Tula is exclusively just for the range, but i just wanted to make sure it was safe to run through my weapon first As for SD ammo, thanks for the suggestions, but I'm going to be going with 147gr HST based on all the ballistics tests I've read watched on all the popular SD rounds
